A "Request" is a set of instructions that asks a Person to provide certain documents. The Request can be send via email or text message and includes a link to a mobile-friendly web page that allows them to respond by uploading requested documents.
Reasons to use Requests
- Ask newly hired employees to send in copies of their Driver License, Passport and Travel Receipts before they arrive.
- Ask bus drivers to take a picture of all passengers as they head out to the next job site.
- Ask drivers to send in a copy of the safety checklist each day.
- Ask supervisors to take a picture of the job site each morning with evidence of required facilities such as a port-o-let or water station.

A Request can be created within the Document Portal Web Application and includes options to specify an optional Due Date and translate the message to Spanish. Documents that are collected through the Request are associated with the Person and are also tagged with the Request Tags for automatic categorization.
