If you have PDF documents that include form fields, you can upload them into Document Portal using the "Upload" option on the Forms List. Your form will be available for selection when using the Merge Forms feature.
Document Portal will identify form fields within the uploaded PDF document and will attempt to map them to existing data entry fields. You can use the "Form Field Mappings" feature to map and fix incorrectly mapped fields. If you like, you can set names of the fields within your PDF document to values such as "person: first name" or "account: name" which are the names that Document Portal uses for its data entry fields. This would improve the Document Portal's ability to automatically map your form fields.
